Juan David joined North Central Washington Equity Alliance (NCWEA) as executive director in November 2024. Originally from Valledupar, Colombia, South America Juan David has lived in the Wenatchee Valley since 2022. There are some similarities – both are agricultural regions as well as mountainous areas.

By background, Juan David’s educational training is in business administration and particularly specializing in marketing and sales management. That is to say, he is a people person and enjoys connecting with people. He has been an international sales director – opening new markets and providing customer service and training employees. He has extensive budgeting and financial management skills that he will put to use for NCWEA as it provides outreach and advocacy on behalf of equity and inclusion initiatives throughout the greater North Central Washington area. He worked in rural communities to build productive relationships, including indigenous communities

Juan David’s creativity and energy will be put to good use as the NCWEA Board of Directors explore new efforts for inclusion and diversity.
