Learning To People Better Together

North Central Washington Equity Alliance hosts Season Five of Learning to People Better Together. This nine-session virtual training program builds workplace skills to empower employers and their employees to use cultural diversity and inclusion to improve business and improve communities.

 

This is a learning and skills-building series designed for community members who live in our culturally diverse North Central Washington communities to better understand our shared history. By learning “better peopling” skills as individuals and organizations, we all become more successful.

Program Facilitator

Developer of the “Learning to People Better, Together” series and a NCW Equity Alliance Board member. Karen is an educator, facilitator and consultant with more than 20 years of experience supporting equity education and outcomes. She holds a law degree from Michigan State University, a master of arts degree from Duke University, and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of California-San Diego. Karen has lived in North Central Washington for six years and has loved the region for longer. She is passionate about inclusive community building, rural communities, and sustainable economic development.
